The Ministry of Health has recorded 72 new COVID-19 Infections from 1, 418 tests, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 38, 333.
No new COVID-19 death was recorded within the last 24 hrs; this means that the death toll for December remains at nine.
The new cases were recorded in the following regions; Region One (two cases), Region Two (two cases), Region Three (eight cases), Region Four (18 cases), Region Five (three cases), Region Six (31 cases) and Region Ten (eight cases).
There are 18 patients in the Intensive Care Unit at the Infectious Diseases Hospital, 51 patients are in institutional isolation and 893 patients are in home isolation.
To date, 36, 362 persons have recovered from the virus.
