Goals rained as the Guyana Football Federation/Kashif and Shanghai Organisation Futsal tournament kicked off Tuesday evening in what was a return of the sport to the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.

The biggest win of the night came at the doing of the powerful California Square, who had a team effort in their 7-2 triumph over Generation X FC.

Brandon Solomon, Wesley Greenidge, Levi Canterbury, Tevin Campbell, Antwone Vasconcellos and Meshak Barat were the goalscorers for California Square.

Chancy Babb and Joshua Parvattan accounted for Generation X goals.

Agricola lost to Renegades via goals from Malcolm Miggins, Keavaughn Ward, Dwayne Wilson, Leorian Lovel, while Bilal Jabar, Christopher John and Kevon Bacchus scored for the East Bank unit.

Two goals by the Harrigan brothers, Jemar and Jermone, led Team Cruel to a 4-0 whipping of Globeyard, as Tyrese Denis and Steven Miller also etched their names on the score sheet.

Alexander Village edged Avacado Ballers 4-2 with the seasoned Shem Porter netting two goals followed by Anton Parker and Rolan Junior, while Antony Correno and Endrick Perez struck the back of the net for Ballers.

Alberto Hernandez scored a superb hat-trick, which stormed Vengy FC to a 6-3 hammering of Stabroek Ballers. Hernandez was ably assisted by Jose Vasquez and Angelo Rajas. Mark Jahlu had a double for Stabroek and in support was Shemar Welch.

The action continues Thursday evening from 19:00h at the aforementioned venue. It is a vaccinated-only event.
