The Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry (GBTI) on Thursday donated close to 100 gifts for underprivileged children through the Guyana Red Cross in a show of its continued support to the Guyana Red Cross Wreath of Smiles initiative.
The gifts will be given to children of Hararuni Village on the Linden/Soesdyke Highway.
“The employees of GBTI every year look forward to sharing joy, love and goodwill at this time. It has become part of our GBTI Christmas, when we don’t see these “angels” we call to find out when we’ll get them,” a GBTI team member mentioned.
“Our Team is happy to be part of this initiative and we commend the Red Cross Team for continuing to ensure that Christmas is special even for the less fortunate.
