The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) has announced that it will hold a fireworks display tonight at the Kitty seawall.
The GDF said the “musical” fireworks display will last for ten minutes.
The announcement that there will be the fireworks display, the Army said, was so as to advise persons not be become alarmed.
Citizens are asked not to traverse the fireworks zone, but the Army did not give details of what area it considers the zone.
