A long-standing relationship with football was renewed on Thursday by the Survival Supermarket chain.
In the season of goodwill and cheer, the very popular and household name in Guyana has committed to bring cheer to one player and his family for six months.
At the company’s Vlissengen Road location, Kashif Muhammad, the Co-Director of the Kashif and Shanghai Organisation, which is organising the tournament in partnership with the Guyana Football Federation, collected the voucher which has cemented the commitment.
Muhammad, in accepting the voucher, said that Survival Supermarket has been a long-time partner of year-end football and the K&S Organisation along with the GFF were elated to have them continue this level of benevolence.
“We are very pleased that you have maintained your long and successful support for year end football. Your prize this year is unique and we know it will bring smiles to the face of the lucky player and his family so on behalf of both the K&S Organisation and the GFF, I would like to extend gratitude to the management and a staff here at Survival Supermarket for maintaining your commitment to the sport.”
This year’s GFF-K&S Super 16 Cup will climax on New Year’s night with the grand finale between semi-final winners, Western Tigers FC and the Guyana Defence Force FC.
The third place clash features the respective semi-final losers, Guyana Police Force FC and Den Amstel FC.
