The Guyana Police Force, specifically ‘A’ Division, is now the beneficiary of two desktop computer systems, compliments of Dapper Technology Inc. The donation, which forms part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme for 2022, was made on Thursday at the Brickdam Police Station.
Founder and Director of the company, Kester Hutson, made the donation; he indicated this is just the beginning of a robust effort to assist various organisations in Guyana.
Hutson, who is also a Vice-President of the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Security and Governance Committee, urged more of corporate Guyana to be steadfast in assisting in the overall development of the country.
On hand to accept the donation was Commander of ‘A’ Division, Simon McBean, who had informed Hutson that computers would be an immediate need for the Division Headquarters after fire ravaged the buildings in October 2021.
