A 55-year-old woman of Ketley & Drysdale Streets, Charlestown Georgetown was on Wednesday taken into custody after ranks from the Customs Anti Narcotics Unit (CANU) discovered a quantity of cannabis at her residence.
A release from CANU said that ranks acted on information and conducted a search at the home of Debra Perreira and discovered the illicit drug.
The suspect was then taken to CANU Headquarters where the drug was tested and weighed, amounting to 912 grams (two pounds).
