Speeding cop killed in EBD accident

A 27-year-old police constable was killed after he collided with a parked truck along the Mocha Access Road, East Bank Demerara (EBD), on Thursday night. Dead is Faustin Magloire of Perseverance, EBD.

Police Headquarters reported that Magloire was speeding at the time of the accident and was killed on the spot.

He was stationed at the North Ruimveldt Police Outpost and attached to the General Duty Section.

According to reports, Magloire collided with the back of the truck, which was parked on the northern side of the road with its lights on.

As a result of the collision, the motorcar ended up on the southern side of the road and then crashed into a taxi.
