A 34-year-old man of Paradise, East Coast Demerara (ECD), was arrested just after midnight on Saturday after he was found with an unlicensed gun.
Police Headquarters reported that the man was found with a .32 pistol during an intelligence-led operation at the Cognac and Cigars Bar, Melanie, ECD. Police said the gun had no ammunition.
The suspect was taken to the Vigilance Police Station where he was profiled and placed in custody and the firearm lodged.
