Motorcyclist in serious condition after crashing into car

A sixty-two-year-old motorcyclist is in serious condition at the Suddie Hospital on the Essequibo Coast following a collision with a car on Sunday on the Golden Fleece public road.
Hospitalised with serious head injuries is Kowsal Netram, a father of three, while the female driver of the car (PTT 2222) is in police custody.
The News Room understands that the car was proceeding south along the eastern lane at a normal rate of speed at around 17:20hrs when the motorcycle (CG 5980) drove out from a street and into the path of the car.
Reports indicate that Netram recently purchased the motorcycle. Investigations are ongoing.
