$115.8 million in ganja destroyed by cops in Berbice River
Ranks of the Guyana Police Force on Friday executed an intelligence-led operation at Zion, Berbice River during which they destroyed three fields of marijuana sitting on about 40 acres of land.
Police Headquarters revealed that the marijuana had a street value of $115.8 million.
The cops destroyed via fire 55,000 cannabis plants ranging from 1 foot to 10 feet in height, about 60 pounds of dried cannabis, six nurseries and five camps.
No one was arrested.
