Five COVID-19 deaths were recorded between February 16 and 18, the Ministry of Health reported on Friday. The country’s death toll has now increased 1, 208. This also means that 37 persons have died for February.
The details on the persons who died are as follows;
Meanwhile, 48 new cases were recorded from a total of 1, 087 tests, taking the overall number of confirmed cases to 62, 585.
The new cases were recorded in the following regions; Region One (eight cases), Region Two (three cases), Region Three (seven cases), Region Four (three cases), Region Five (six cases), Region Six (seven cases), Region Seven (four cases), Region Nine (five cases) and Region Ten (six cases).
There are 77 patients in institutional isolation, 864 are in home isolation and 11 patients are in the ICU.
To date, 60, 425 people have recovered from the virus.
