Noble House launches internal probe after boat with fishermen sinks offshore

Two days after its seabob trawler sank offshore Guyana causing many to fear that three fishermen are dead, Noble House Seafoods says that it has launched an internal investigation into the incident.

Government officials have lamented that the company did not report that the vessel was in distress and as such, assistance was not immediately mobilised. Families of the men have also raised concerns about the company’s apparent inaction.
