An accident at Main Street, New Amsterdam, Berbice on Sunday night has claimed the life of Raul Victor, a poultry farmer of #2 Village, East Canje Berbice.
The News Room understands that a male passenger is in a stable condition at the New Amsterdam Hospital.
Reports indicate that Victor lost control of the car and crashed into the base of the arch located at Main Road.
Victor and the occupant were picked up in an unconscious state and rushed to the New Amsterdam Hospital where Victor succumbed to his injuries.
