Guyana recorded 12 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday, taking the country’s total number of confirmed cases to 62, 903.
Although four deaths were recorded on Saturday, no deaths were recorded on Sunday.
The new cases were recorded in the following regions; Region One (one case), Region Two (one case), Region three (one case), Region four (six cases) and Region five (two cases) and Region Six (one case).
There are 10 patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit, 31 are in institutional isolation and 602 are in home isolation.
To date, 61, 003 people have recovered from the virus.
