Another 96 people recover from COVID-19 in 24 hrs; 5 in ICU
Over the past 24 hours, another 96 people recovered after they were infected with the disease COVID-19, according to the Ministry of Health.
While these 96 people recovered, seven people were newly-infected.
With these new cases, the total number of confirmed cases since March 11, 2020, has increased to 63,062. Importantly, though, no additional deaths were recorded. As such, the overall death toll remained at 1,223.
The new infections were recorded from: Region One (one case), Region Four (three cases), Region Five (two cases) and Region Seven (one case).
There are also five patients receiving critical care in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 14 are people in institutional isolation, three people are in institutional quarantine and 206 people are in home isolation.
