Arinze Chance sprints to another win in USA

Guyanese sprinter Arinze Chance continues to have an impressive indoor season in the United States of America after he delivered yet another victory over the weekend.

Chance clocked 47.82s to win the men’s 400m at the Adam Sanford Pro & Classic, in New York. Despite the win, he was still off his season-best of 47.54s, achieved in mid-February.

Malcom Tatum (50.32s) was second as Guyanese Stephan James did not finish.

Additionally, middle-distance runner, Andrea Foster, also made it to the podium via a third-place finish at the ACC Indoor Championship in Blacksburg, Virginia.

The Clemson University star, who won her heat in 2:05.51s, clocked 2:05.66s in the final which was won by Lindsey Butler (2:01.23s) while Ruby Stauber (2:04.31s) finished second.

She also competed in the 4x400m where her team placed second with a season-best time of 3:35.38s behind Duke (3:35.08s), as Miami (3:35.46s)  copped third.
