Another 18 people recover from COVID-19 in 24 hrs; 4 in ICU

Over the past 24 hours, another 18 people recovered after they were infected with the disease COVID-19, according to the Ministry of Health.

While these 18 people recovered, 10 persons were newly infected with the novel coronavirus that causes the disease COVID-19.

With these new cases, the total number of confirmed cases since March 11, 2020, has increased to 63,157. Importantly, though, no additional deaths were recorded. As such, the overall death toll remained at 1,225.

The new infections were recorded from: Region Three (one case), Region Four (seven cases) and Region Nine (three cases)

Importantly, however, one infection that was recorded in Region Seven previously has been removed after the data was reviewed.

There are also four patients receiving critical care in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 13 people in institutional isolation, 15 people in institutional quarantine and 175 people in home isolation.
