Guyana recorded two new COVID-19 cases on Saturday but the country’s total active cases stand at 157.
The two new cases take the total number of confirmed cases since March 2020, to 63, 183.
The new cases were recorded in the following regions; Region three (one case) and Region Four (one case).
The total number of deaths stands at 1, 226 since no new deaths were reported. So far, six people have died for March.
There are four patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 12 patients are in institutional isolation and 129 are in home isolation.
To date, 61, 812 people have recovered from the dreaded virus.
