One new COVID-19 case reported in 24 hrs; 4 persons in ICU

Over the past 24 hours, only one new COVID-19 case was reported based on information provided by the Ministry of Health in the daily COVID-19 dashboard.

This new infection was recorded after 366 COVID-19 tests were done; the case was recorded in Region Four.

And with this new case, the total number of confirmed cases since March 11, 2020 has increased to 63,195. Importantly, though, no additional deaths were recorded. As such, the overall death toll remained at 1,226.

There are also four patients receiving critical care in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 12 people in institutional isolation, eight people in institutional quarantine and 128 people in home isolation.
