Only two new COVID cases recorded in 24-hours

Guyana recorded two new COVID-19 cases from 479 tests, taking the total number of confirmed cases to date, to 63, 234.

The two cases were recorded in Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica) and there are 87 active cases countrywide.

There are two patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), seven are in institutional isolation and 78 are in home isolation.

To date, 61, 921 people have recovered from the virus.
