Over the past 24 hours, only one new COVID-19 case was reported based on information provided by the Ministry of Health in the daily COVID-19 dashboard.
This new infection was recorded after 298 COVID-19 tests were done; the case was recorded in Region Three.
And with this new case, the total number of confirmed cases since March 11, 2020 has increased to 63,235. Importantly, though, no additional deaths were recorded. As such, the overall death toll remained at 1,226.
There are also two patients receiving critical care in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), six people in institutional isolation, eight people in institutional quarantine and 74 people in home isolation.
Importantly, six more people recovered after they were infected with the disease. A total of 61,927 people have recovered.
