Shipping woes delay opening of Space Gym 2.0
The highly-anticipated opening of the modern Space Gym 2.0 has been delayed, owing to issues with shipping of the gym equipment to Guyana.
Initially, management of the facility was hoping to open its doors to the public in early April 2022, but that has now been shifted to later in the month.
The state-of-the-art gym is located in the spanking new Orchid Garden Hotel and Shopping Mall on Mandela Avenue, Georgetown.
Management has further indicated that the facilities are ready and once the equipment arrive, the gym would be fully outfitted this month, followed by the official opening.
In the meantime, training for new staff is ongoing as it is the intention of Space Gym 2.0 to offer not only modern equipment to its members, but also a service that is professional and is characterised by excellence.
“We are leaving no stone unturned to ensure the best possible training regimen for the staff who would be interacting with gym members on a daily basis,” the gym said in a statement.
“The management and staff of Space Gym 2.0 await anxiously to welcome new members to this state-of-the-art facility, soonest.”
