Ryvan Shervin Francis, a 44-year-old man of mixed descent, is wanted by the Guyana Police Force for questioning in relation to the murder of former Guyana Energy Agency (GEA) employee Levoy Taljit.
Francis’ last known address is Lot 4B Sharma Alley, Soesdyke, East Bank Demerara (EBD).
Police Headquarters, in a wanted bulletin, stated that anyone who has seen Francis or has information about his whereabouts, is asked to contact the Force on, 216-0251, 216-0254, 216-0251, 444-3429, 225-6978, 225-8196 or the nearest police station.
All information will be treated with the strictest confidence, the bulletin stated.
According to local media reports, Taljit is believed to have been killed sometime between December 23 to 24 2013. His body has never been found.
The Stabroek Newspaper reported that Taljit of Anira Street, Queenstown mysteriously disappeared on December 23, 2012. He was last seen driving his Toyota Raum motor vehicle, PNN 8315, which was later found vandalised days after along the Linden-Soesdyke highway.
