Six new cases from 911 tests

Six new COVID-19 infections have been recorded after 911 tests were conducted, the Ministry of Health reported on Friday.

The new infections were recorded in Regions Three (two cases) and Four (four cases).

With these new infections, the total number of infections recorded locally since March 2020 has increased to 63,364.

There have been no new deaths; as such, the death toll remains at 1,228.

Meanwhile, there is one critically ill patient receiving treatment in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU). There are eight persons in institutional isolation, 91 in home isolation and 18 in institutional quarantine.

Importantly, six more people have recovered from the virus.
