For the second day in a row, the Ministry of Health is reporting that the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Liliendaal Infectious Diseases Hospital remains empty.
And within the past 24-hours, only four new cases were reported from a total of 670 tests, taking the overall number of confirmed cases since March 2020, to 63, 375.
Region Four (Demerara – Mahaica) recorded two cases and Region Six (East Berbice – Corentyne) recorded two cases.
There are five patients in institutional isolation and 93 patients are in home isolation.
Meanwhile, a total of 62, 049 people have recovered from the virus.
