Guyana has recorded 10 new COVID-19 cases within a 24-hour period from 1, 193 tests.
This takes the total number of confirmed cases since March 2020 to 63, 399 and for the fifth day in a row, the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit remains empty.
The new cases were recorded in the following regions; Region Two (two cases), Region Three (one case), Region Four (six cases) and Region Five (one case).
There are seven patients in institutional isolation and 83 patients are in home isolation.
To date, 62, 081 people have recovered from the virus and 1, 228 people have died.
