See below statement issued by the U.S Embassy in Guyana:

With reference to a recent article published by Stabroek News on April 20, 2022, under the caption “U.S. Secretary of State Blinken to visit in June,” the U.S. Embassy wishes to advise that there is no such visit planned at this time.

In the event of such a high-level visit, the U.S. Embassy would inform and coordinate with the Government of Guyana.

The U.S.-Guyana relationship is important, and the United States continues to share a strong bilateral partnership with Guyana. The U.S. Embassy is proud to continue furthering our productive partnership.

Good advice for Guyana….stay away from greater alignment with the USA. They are ONLY interested in your resources for CRUMBS. Before the oil find, the USA didn’t care one crap about Guyana. Instead bad report after report and pressure was made to bear on Guyana. They even were involved in a soft coup against the PPP in 2015 led by their then charge de affairs in the US embassy. All the oil wealth you are placing in the federal reserve bank in NYC, will be seized and stolen in a flash if at a later date the govt comes to their senses, as advised by all the experts and demand a fair share of their oil valve. And for sure after, they will organize to overthrow PPP and put in the PNC. BE WARNED.
