Third ton for Buttler as Rajasthan Royals beat Delhi Capitals

Jos Buttler struck his third hundred of the TATA IPL 2022 as Rajasthan Royals defeated Delhi Capitals by 15 runs to move to the top of the points table.

Butter struck nine sixes and nine fours in 116 off 65 balls as Rajasthan Royals posted 222-2. Buttler and Devdutt Padikkal, who struck 54 off 35 balls, put on 155 in 15 overs to lay the foundation for the massive total.

Sanju Samson added 46 off 19 to boost the Royals in the death overs.

Delhi Capitals responded with 207-8 with Rishabh Pant getting 44, Prithvi Shaw 37 and Rovman Powell 36. Prasidh Krishna took 3-22.

IPL action continues on Saturday with Kolkata Knight Riders playing Gujarat Titans at 06:00h and Royal Challengers Bangalore taking on Sunrisers Hyderabad at 10:00h.
