Guyana recorded six new COVID-19 cases from 838 tests, taking the overall number of confirmed cases since March 2020 to 63, 413.
The new cases were recorded in the following regions; Region Four (three cases), Region Six (two cases) and Region Nine (one case).
There is one patient in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit, four patients are in institutional isolation and 88 patients are in home isolation.
To date, 62, 092 people have recovered and 1, 228 people have died from the virus.
