The Guyana Cricket Board/Dave West Indian Imports and Exports’ Under-15 Inter-county 50-over competition bowled off on Friday with Berbice and Demerara recording first round victories.
At the Number 69 ground in Berbice, the hosts trounced the Rising Star Select Under-15 by 146 runs, while over in Essequibo at the Imam Bacchus ground, Demerara thumped the home team by 81 runs.
Among the standout performers were Darwin LaRose with 5-19 for Demerara, and the Berbice trio Adrian Hetmyer (31 and 2-3), Romario Ramdeholl (44) and Arif Khan (4-8).

On Monday (April 25), Demerara will oppose Berbice at the Albion Community Centre ground, while Essequibo will clash with the Rising Star Select Under-15 at Everest.
On Wednesday (April 27), Demerara will play Rising Star Select Under-15 at Everest and Berice will compete with Essequibo at Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC), Bourda.
The final will be played at GCC on Friday (April 29).
