Equipped with the latest gym weights and relevant equipment from the internationally renowned brands, Life Fitness and Hammer Strength, Space Gym 2.0 is set to open its doors to the public on Tuesday, May 3.
A cocktail reception where Minister of Sport Charles Ramson Jr., and other dignitaries would attend to do the official opening and cutting of the ribbon would be held on May 1.
The biggest and most modern gym in the Caribbean would also be featuring an Outdoor Tennis Court and Exercise Track around it (phase two to commence one month after official opening) is equipped with the latest equipment in the fitness industry manufactured by Life Fitness, an American fitness equipment company that specialises in the production and distribution of equipment.
A Life Fitness team was in Guyana to install the equipment and was also engaged in training the Gym Instructors in its management and handling to ensure that customers get the best possible experience in their quest to live fit and healthy lives.
The Management of Space Gym 2.0 has also left no stone unturned and has been training the Gym Instructors continuously to ensure quality service and satisfaction for gym members.
The Gym is fully equipped with high-speed internet which would allow customers to be able to watch their favourite channels whilst working out on the bikes, treadmills, or otherwise.
This spanking new facility also features a Yoga and Zumba Room which would cater to the needs of among others, the elderly as the management is deliberately keen on catering to the need of every customer.
There is also a SpaceRide Room (first world style) fully equipped with ICG7 Model Bikes that are all electronically locked into the Instructor’s Bike. The Gym would be catering to all sports as it would offer the latest and best options for athletes and individuals to attain their respective fitness dreams.
Among the other amenities would be healthy food and shakes bar that would be managed by Body Amped Nutrition Center. Adequate security and parking would also be available for customers’ comfort.
