A Police Constable was granted $10,000 bail when he appeared at the Leonora Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
Constable Hill is accused of committing a crime of simple larceny on 27-year-old businessman Ravindra Singh of Hubu Public Road, East Bank Essequibo.
Constable Hill appeared before Magistrate Zameena Seepaul-Ali and pleaded not guilty to the charge. The case was postponed until the June 03, 2022 for report.
Police Headquarters reported that the incident occurred on April 14 at Singh’s business place at Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo.
