10 new COVID cases, no patient hospitalised

A total of ten new COVID-19 cases were recorded on Thursday from a total of 1, 077 tests, taking the overall number of confirmed cases since March 2020 to 63, 457.

The new cases were recorded in the following regions; Region Three (one case), Region Four (three cases), Region Five (one case), Region Six (four cases) and Region Nine (one case).

There are 99 patients in home isolation and for the second consecutive day, there are no hospitalisations; this is a first since March 2020.

To date, 62, 130 people have recovered and 1, 228 have died from the virus.
