Lucknow Super Giants defeated Punjab Kings by 20 runs in Match 42 of the IPL to move to number three on the points table.
Opener Quinton de Kock topscored with 46 and Deepak Hooda made 34, as Lucknow Super Giants were held to 153-8 from 20 overs.
Kagiso Rabada took 4-38 and Rahul Chahar 2-30.
Punjab Kings were limited to 133-8 with Jonny Bairstow’s 32 being the topscore. Mohsin Khan picked up 3-24 for Lucknow Super Giants, while Dushmantha Chameera and Krunal Pandya took two wickets each.
IPL action continues on Saturday with Gujarat Titans playing Royal Challengers Bangalore from 06:00h and Rajasthan Royals coming up against Mumbai Indians from 10:00h.
