The banquet hall at Parc Rayne located at Houston, East Bank Demerara, will be transformed this Sunday (May 08) for a Mother’s Day Jazz brunch featuring live performances by local artistes, Abel Stokes and Shevon and the Trio, complemented with music by Kirk Noel and DJ Charlie.

In addition to the extensive menu which is included in the $6, 000 per person package, patrons at Sunday’s brunch will also get an opportunity to have their portraits drawn in real-time by a young and upcoming artist.

“You will all be fully entertained, you can come in and have your picture drawn, have your brunch, take your pictures with your family, buy our cocktails, have a great time, enjoy the music and enjoy the vibe,” one of Parc Rayne’s Managers Mickelly Rahaman told the News Room during an interview on Friday.

She said the brunch was themed a jazz brunch to emulate the elegance, sophistication and strength of who a mother is.

“It’s really the way we view mothers and the energy they give us and that’s what we are doing with our jazz theme as well,” Rahaman added.

Parc Rayne has etched out a reputation for its Sunday brunches which is offered at an affordable price and includes local cuisines such as pepper pot, boulanger choka and salt fish and bake along with international food options that vary every week.

This Sunday’s Mother’s Day jazz brunch will be from 09:00hrs to 14:00hrs and included on the menu is a ‘build your own’ egg station and pasta station, a carving station along with classic sides, freshly made goodies, salads and a dessert station.

“Each person pays $6,000 and you get access to everything on the menu. There are no additions or conditions. It’s a buffet and you get to eat everything and that is what makes us stand out because we offer so much for such an affordable price,” Kimberly Vicente, the Hotel Manager at Rayne Inn explained.

In addition to the food menu, there will also be a beverage station where people can choose one of three juices, tea or coffee as part of the brunch. There will be a separate bar where Parc Rayne will have skilled bartenders preparing mimosas and mojitos for sale.

Persons are encouraged to make reservations by calling the office on 225 – 7063.
