Police are investigating the murder of Alston Seon, a resident of Bartica, Region Seven (Cuyuni- Mazaruni), which occurred on Sunday morning.
The News Room understands that Seon was stabbed multiple times after he reportedly attempted to stop a fight from ensuing.
The fatal stabbing was confirmed by police commander Dion Moore; he also indicated that the suspect in the matter is in police custody assisting with investigations.
