Romeo Hunter, 15, wins Bodybuilding Novices title  

15-year-old Romeo Hunter, known for racking up several records in local powerlifting, has now added Novices bodybuilding champion to his cabinet of titles.

Hunter won the Junior Bodybuilding segment and also the under-154 class before defeating a game lineup of category winners to take the spoils of the overall at the event.

The event was organized by the Guyana Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (GBBFF) and was staged in Linden on Saturday at Lichas Hall.

President of the GBBFF Keavon Bess said he was extremely pleased with the high interest shown by the athletes and some exquisite body types that were on display, given the fact that some of the athletes participated with little notice.

Attention will now turn to the Intermediate Championships in July, which will be held in Berbice, followed by the Central American and Caribbean Championships in Barbados from July 27 to August 1.
