Two patients in COVID ICU

There are two patients receiving critical care in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), the Ministry of Health reported in its daily COVID-19 dashboard on Monday.

Additionally, three more people have been infected with the novel coronavirus, taking the total number of cases recorded locally to 63,586.

Importantly, no additional deaths were recorded; as such, the overall death toll remained at 1,228.

The new cases were recorded in Region Three (one case) and Region Four (two cases).

There are three patients in institutional isolation, four people in institutional quarantine and 124 people in home isolation.

With 12 new recoveries, the total number of people who recovered after they were infected increased to 62,229.
