Livingstone, Bairstow and bowlers lead Punjab Kings to dominant win over RCB
Cracking fifties from England pair Liam Livingstone and Jonny Bairstow, backed up by a solid bowling effort, propelled Punjab Kings to a commanding 54-run win over Royal Challengers Bangalore in Match 60 of the IPL on Friday.
Livingstone blasted five fours and fours sixes in a topscore of 70 off 42, as Punjab Kings racked up 209-9 after being asked to bat first. Opener Bairstow cleared the boundary seven times in a shot-filled 66 of 29, which also included four fours.

Punjab Kings lost wickets in a bunch at the backend, with Harshal Patel taking 4-34, while leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga was brilliant amidst the carnage, taking 2-15 off four overs.
In reply, RCB were held to 155-9 after 20 overs with Glenn Maxwell making 35 off 22, Rajat Patidar 26 off 21 and Virat Kohli 20 off 14.
Kagiso Rabada picked up 3-21, while Rishi Dhawan and Rahul Chahar had 2-36 and 2-37 respectively.
With the win, Punjab Kings moved to sixth, while RCB remained in fourth. Click to view points table
