The owners of El Dorado Trading and S. Jagmohan Construction & General Supplies Inc on Sunday donated 10 vehicles to the Guyana Police Force in Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam).

The vehicles were officially handed over to the Force on Saturday at the official commissioning ceremony of the $215.1M Police Divisional Headquarters at Anna Regina.

Manager for El Dorado Trading, Eon Dookie, during brief remarks, said the two companies answered the call to add to the Force’s fleet in the region to aid their operations.

“We the owners of El Dorado Trading and S. Jagmohan Construction & General Supplies Inc are pleased to be part of this very important occasion as we arrive at this the final of three stages which is the handing over of these ten vehicles to the Guyana Police Force,” Dookie said.

He explained that the first stage was their commitment, the second the procurement and preparation of the vehicles.

“Essequibo Coast is very dear to us and over two decades we have been doing our utmost in the region to increase disposable income to our residents, in the form of job creation in the mining, manufacturing, and agriculture sectors,” Dookie said.

The companies have partnered with the Force over the years and committed to making Region Two one of the safest regions in Guyana.
