The Ministry of Health on Saturday reported 54 new COVID-19 cases from 1, 847 tests, taking the total number of confirmed cases to, 64, 228.
The new cases were recorded in the following regions; Region Two (two cases), Region Three (13 cases), Region Four (31 cases), Region Five (two cases), Region Six (five cases) and Region Ten (one case).
No deaths were reported which means that the total deaths for this month remain at three persons; 1, 231 persons have died since this pandemic hit these shores in March 2020.
There are two cases in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 21 patients are in institutional isolation and 519 are in home isolation.
To date, 62, 455 people have recovered from the virus.
