The Ministry of Health on Sunday reported 48 new COVID-19 cases from 1, 244 tests, taking the total number of confirmed cases to, 64, 276.
The new cases were recorded in the following regions; Region Two (four cases), Region Three (two cases), Region Four (32 cases), Region Six (seven cases), Region Seven (one case) and Region Ten (two cases).
No deaths were reported which means that the total deaths for this month remain at three persons; 1, 231 persons have died since this pandemic hit these shores in March 2020.
There are two cases in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 21 patients are in institutional isolation and 566 are in home isolation.
To date, 62, 456 people have recovered from the virus.
