One additional person has died and 11 more people were infected with the novel coronavirus, taking the total number of cases recorded since March 2020 to 64, 628, according to information from the Ministry of Health on Monday.
Those positive cases were recorded from 266 tests and the person who succumbed was only identified as a 59-year-old male from Region Four who was fully vaccinated.
The new cases were recorded in the following three regions: Region Two (four cases); Region Three (two cases) and Region Four (five cases).
Meanwhile, there are now three patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 20 patients are in institutional isolation and 606 patients are in home isolation.
To date, 62, 765 people have recovered and there has been a total of 1,234 deaths.
