COVID infections continue to climb with 106 new cases

Another 106 people were infected with the novel coronavirus after 1,263 tests were done, based on information from the Ministry of Health’s daily COVID-19 dashboard.

With these new infections, the total number of cases recorded since March 2020 has increased to 65,075.

The new cases were recorded in the following regions: Region Two (13 cases), Region Three (nine cases), Region Four (65 cases), Region Five (two cases), Region Six (seven cases), Region Seven (three cases), Region Nine (five cases) and Region Ten (two cases).

Meanwhile, there are three patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 24 patients are in institutional isolation and 816 patients are in home isolation.

To date, 62, 8995 people have recovered and there have been a total of 1,237 deaths.
