Ranks of the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) on Thursday arrested a man and woman at Guinep lane, East Ruimveldt, Georgetown, following the discovery of marijuana and several types of ammunition.
A press release from CANU noted that 48-year-old Julian Aaron and 46-year-old Denese Aaron, were arrested and escorted to CANU Headquarters with the suspected narcotics and ammunition.
“The narcotics tested positive for cannabis with a weight of 1.26 kg,” CANU noted.
The ammunition discovered included one .40mm; 100 .38; two .38 short and 27 9mm. Investigations are ongoing.
