73 new COVID cases recorded

Another 73 people were infected with the novel coronavirus after 2, 672 tests were done, based on information from the Ministry of Health’s daily COVID-19 dashboard.

With these new infections, the overall number of confirmed cases since March 2020 has increased to, 65, 148.

The new cases were recorded in the following regions; Region One (two cases), Region Two (seven cases), Region Three (seven cases), Region Four (45 cases), Region Five (seven cases), Region Six (two cases), Region Seven (one case) and Region Ten (two cases).

There are two patients in the COVID-19 Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 25 patients are in institutional isolation and 834 are in home isolation.

To date, 63, 050 people have recovered from the virus.
