FOUR-DAY: Rain wins day three between Harpy Eagles and Red Force
Conditions were gloomy for the most parts of Friday at the Queen's Park Oval

After day two was completely washed out, day three day got a prompt start but only 20.2 overs were possible after the rain once again hampered play in the Regional Four-Day match between Trinidad and Tobago Red Force and the Guyana Harpy Eagles at the Queen’s Park, Oval.

Harpy Eagles reached 30 without loss from 16 overs with Tevin Imlach and Tagenarine Chanderpaul unbeaten on 25 and three respectively when rain ended the final session about an hour before the scheduled close of play.

Red Force resumed the day on 203-9 and were quickly bowled out for 218 from 94.2 overs with Keemo Paul taking his innings tally to 6-50 from 19.2 overs, copping his fourth First-Class five-for.

Play started at 09:30h, and it looked like there would be a full day of cricket, but just before lunch when Harpy Eagles were 19-0 after 12.4 overs, the rain came, and it looked that would be the end of play for the day.

The sun peeked and the umpires restarted play at 15:30h, but only four more overs were possible in the day.

The other two games, also being played in Trinidad, were also affected by rain.

Below are the summarised scores for the other matches.

At Diego Martin Sporting Complex: Windward Volcanoes 203 from 62 overs (Teddy Bishop 44, Larry Edward 37, Kaveem Hodge 37; Ramon Simmonds 3-25, Roston Chase 3-46, Miguel Cummins 2-32) v Barbados Pride 109-1 (Raymon Reifer 56*, Kraigg Brathwaite 39*; Ryan John 1-14) from 24 overs

At Brian Lara Cricket Academy: Jamaica Scorpions 302 (Paul Palmer Jr. 144*, Jamie Merchant 55, Aldane Thomas 31; Sheeno Berridge 2-29, Colin Archibald 2-64, Rahkeem Cornwall 2-103) vs Leeward Islands Hurricanes 4-0 (Montcin Hodge 2*, Kieran Powell 2*)
