The body of a 93-year-old man was discovered in a slightly decomposed state on Thursday at his Cummings Lodge, East Coast Demerara house.
Dead is Carlton King of Third Field, Cummings Lodge.
Regional Commander Simon McBean told the News Room that construction workers discovered the dead man lying at his front door at about 16:10hrs and contacted the police.
The elderly man lived alone.
Commander McBean said the body showed no marks of violence and that the police do not suspect foul play.
