Two arrested after firearm found in car
Ranks of the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) arrested two persons on Saturday after a Lorcin .380 semi-automatic pistol and ammunition was discovered in the vehicle they were in.
CANU in a statement revealed that the driver Terry Andrew Joseph, 37, and a female passenger were arrested at the Square of the Revolution, Homestretch Avenue in Georgetown.
They were escorted to CANU Headquarters along with the firearm.
Investigations are ongoing.
